Applications:
RW Crete NL516 is used in concrete placements such as: slabs, walls, columns, bridge piers, pre-stressed concrete, narrow and heavily reinforced sections, or any concrete requiring high strength and workability.
Advantages:
– Increases the ultimate strength of concrete by reducing water content by 12% to 25%, enhancing 3-, 7-, and 28-day compressive strength.
– Free of chloride and nitrate, ensuring no harm to reinforcement or concrete.
– Removes up to 70% of entrapped air.
– Compatible with all cement types.
– Can be used alongside mineral additives like bentonite, microsilica, etc.
– Complies with ASTM C494 Type F.
Dosage:
0.5% to 3.1% of cement weight, depending on target strength, climatic conditions, reinforcement density, and spacing.
Note: Accidental overdose (2–3 times the recommended dosage) may delay setting time, reduce early compressive strength (24–48 hours), increase air content, and alter other properties.
Application Method:
1. Add the product to ready-mix concrete (with pre-adjusted water content for target strength) and mix for **at least 3 minutes per cubic meter.
2. Optimal method:
– Mix aggregates, cement, and 50% of water for 15–30 seconds.
– Dissolve RW Crete NL516 in up to 30% of the remaining water and gradually add to the mix.
– Add the remaining water incrementally to achieve the desired slump (workability).
