Application Instructions:
1. Surface Preparation: Remove dust, grease, and loose material. For rusted rebar, clean using wire brushing or sandblasting until bare metal is exposed.
2. Wetting: Rinse the surface thoroughly until saturated. Remove excess standing water.
3. Mixing:
– Add clean water to a container.
– While mixing with a low-speed drill, gradually add the powder.
– Mix for 3 minutes until uniform and lump-free. Adjust consistency with small amounts of water or powder if needed, then remix briefly.
4. Application: Apply manually (trowel) or by spraying. For manual application, press firmly to ensure full contact with the substrate.
5. Finishing: Final finishing is ideal when the surface retains a faint fingerprint.
6. Curing: Essential in hot/windy conditions—use polyethylene sheeting for protection.
