Applications:
– Protection of concrete structures exposed to aggressive agents such as chlorides and sulfates.
– Final coating for concrete surfaces to seal and eliminate potential microcracks.
– Repair of industrial structures, particularly those exposed to mineral or hydraulic oils.
– Waterproofing and restoration of water-retaining structures (e.g., pools, potable water tanks, marine structures).
– Structural repairs requiring high-strength, long-lasting coatings, applicable via trowel or spray methods.
Key Advantages:
✔ Applicable in thicknesses of 1–40 mm.
✔ Zero shrinkage ensures strong bonding and force transfer in structural repairs.
✔ Spray-compatible for faster application and larger-scale projects.
✔ Extremely low permeability, minimizing environmental corrosion risks.
✔ Resistant to freeze-thaw cycles.
✔ Concrete-matching color with no visual impact on exterior surfaces.
Coverage:
A 20 kg bag of RW Hard Repair mixed with 3.5 L of water yields 10 L of mortar, sufficient for 1 m² at 10 mm thickness.
Application Guide:
1. Surface Prep: Remove dust, grease, and contaminants. Eliminate loose sections. For rusted rebar, clean via brushing/sandblasting until bare steel is exposed.
2. Wetting: Rinse the surface thoroughly until saturated. Remove excess standing water.
3. Mixing:
– Use a low-speed mixer (drill).
– Add water to a clean container, then gradually incorporate RW Hard Repair powder while mixing.
– Mix for 3 minutes until homogenous and lump-free. Adjust consistency with small water/powder increments if needed, then remix briefly.
4. Application: Apply manually (trowel) or via spraying. For manual application, press firmly to ensure full adhesion.
5. Finishing: Final finishing is optimal when the surface barely retains a fingerprint.
6. Curing: Essential in hot/windy conditions—use polyethylene sheeting for moisture retention.
